Search Wizard for Firefox
Have a look at it. Customised Search engines in the Search Engine Bar.
You can choose from a whole list which comprises of the Giants Google, Live,Ask,Answers,Amazon and Yahoo to specific searches like Wikipedia,IMDb,Flickr and even Dice.com. Yeah I know, I am a big movie buff.

i have been a firefox user.. that is until it started eating my RAM @ almost 99,000K for just one open tab. i tried disabling all the add-ons and ended up at 67,000k.
now i use maxthon after recommendation by chris pirillo. guess wat!! at this point its eating a cool 202,438k memory for just 4 tabs.
IS THERE A FRIGGIN way to avoid all this!!!!
man!! my 1GB RAM seems inadequate now
ok, I have a Thinkpad T42, 2004 model with Intel Pentium Processor, 1.5 GHz and 1 GB RAM. I run Firefox all the time with at least 6 tabs on , and my memory utilization for Firefox is almost 122k. A bit heavy than IE for sure, but cmon Firefox rocks. Not a problem for me. I have a NASA Theme on for Firefox, a Tab Effect on, StumbleUpon toolbar, Search Wizard, and an active RSS Reader, and a Down-ThemAll plugin too. Works smooth for me. Yep, if you want to make your firefox run as a brand new one as a separate profile, close firefox just go to run type :" firefox.exe -p", and create a new profile, it'd give u a brand new firefox without the install.I hope I have been helpful
